Scripture Reading: Zechariah 4: 1-10

Focus

“And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,” (Zechariah 4: 1)

Zechariah had experienced divine encounters prior to our Focal Scripture, when the angel of the Lord came again and woke him up like a man that is awakened out of his sleep. The second coming of the angel of the Lord awakened Zechariah in a way that made previous events seem like sleep. The coming of that angel caused the former level of Zechariah to seem like nothing. The coming of that angel took Zechariah higher.

Friend, I pray for you: may God take you to a level that will cause your current level to look like child’s play. May God usher you into new realms that will clearly dwarf the current levels you have attained; may God open new gates for you that will mock whatever open gates you are celebrating today; may God position you on higher levels that will overshadow your current status; may God replace your current level with a higher one.

God was not about to visit Zechariah and take him to a level merely better than where he was; God showed up and took him to a level that far outweighed and outshined his current level. Hear me as I hear the Lord: what is coming your way by the hands of God, will not be a mere unnoticeable increase. What God is about to make happen will be an increase that will be so remarkable and outstanding that you won’t look like your past level.

God is not a man that can only make a difference in limited measures; when God decides to make a difference, He makes it so different. When God decides to make a difference, He goes all out to make it dwarf every previous level and expectation. When God makes a difference, He makes it remarkable enough to have the insignia of divinity.

Get set to step into that new realm that will make your current level a child’s play; get set to step into new levels that will position you higher.

Declaration

I step into new realms that will overshadow my former levels, in Jesus’ name!
