Divine Speed

10th October 2020

Scripture Reading: John 5: 1-11

Focus

“The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.” (John 5: 7)

In our Focal Scripture, the man at the pool of Bethesda gave Jesus one of the reasons why he remained at the pool. He told Jesus how he had tried to get into the pool when an Angel stirred the water, but someone else always got there before him. Impliedly, there was a challenge of speed in the life of that man. He was simply too slow to hit his target. He lacked the speed needed to compete with others at the pool of Bethesda.

Friend, I pray for you today: may the Lord baptize you with divine speed. May your feet be strengthened to run ahead of your competitors. May your feet receive strength to move ahead of those who are already ahead of you. May you receive strength to move faster and gain your results with speed. May you receive might in your inner man to prevail over every delay that has kept you where you are. May your feet receive divine speed.

The power of delay is broken forever in your life. The season of slow movements, is over. Your progress will no longer be slow. Your results will no longer come slowly. Your advancement will no longer be slow. Your miracles will no longer come slowly. Your breaking forth will not be slow. Your greatness will not come slowly. Your resources will not come slowly. Your results will not come slowly. The season of slow movements is over.

Get set: in this new season, it will be said that everything in your life is happening fast and at the same time. Your good news will come in quick succession. Your life will move to the speed lane. In this season, you will overtake those who previously overtook you. The same way the hand of the Lord was on Elijah and he ran ahead of Ahab, you will run ahead of those ahead of you.

Welcome to your new season of divine speed. Welcome to a new season where your life will no longer be on the slow lane.
