In our Focal Scripture, the multitudes went back to where they were coming from, while Jesus sent His disciples to ‘the other side’. There was a multitude that simply moved away back to their location; and yet another group, of disciples, who moved in the direction that the Master would have them move to. Some went on an ordinary journey; others went on a divine journey. Some simply moved; others moved by divine direction.
Friend, in your journey through life, you will come face to face with the option to either move like everyone else moves, or to move by divine direction and in line with divine purpose. Like Jesus’ disciples, dare to move in the direction that God would have you move to. Move in the direction of God’s plan and purpose for your life; move in the direction of God’s desire for you; move in the direction of the assignment God has bestowed on you.
The multitudes went away to their destinations, and nothing was heard concerning them; Jesus’ disciples went in the direction that Jesus determined, and they got the chance to see Him still the storm and heal the woman with the issue of blood on the other side. Those that are part of destiny and God-ordained journeys will always make more impact and live more relevantly than those who don’t. God’s direction is your relevance.
Make a commitment to move intentionally by the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Don’t just start whatever comes to your mind; start what God would have you start. Don’t just do what you feel like doing; do what God is prompting you to do. Don’t just live an accidental life; live intentionally like one who understands that there is more to life than just moving carelessly without purpose. Walk and move like a man with divine purpose.
Don’t be counted among the multitudes whose movements are of no consequence in destiny. Move by the impulse of the Spirit of God. Move in the direction of God’s plan for your life.
