Scripture Reading: Mark 5: 21-34

“And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.” (Mark 5: 23)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of the challenge that forced Jairus to meet Jesus. Jairus had a sick daughter that was at the point of death. He was about to face an embarrassing situation. He was about to face the misfortune of burying his own daughter. He was about to be in the news on account of the death of his daughter. Jairus was a ruler in the synagogue, but negativity was about to be advertised from his home.

Jesus came in contact with Jairus, and in a matter of time, the same situation that was about to embarrass Jairus became a testimony. The same situation that was about to cause him shame and mourning became the platform for a mega unbelievable miracle. The same negativity the enemy wanted to advertise became a platform for a testimony that sounds like lies. The same situation that came for mourning led to laughter.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every negativity the enemy wants to advertise in your life shall become a mega testimony. Every shame the enemy wants to bring to you shall become a platform for a mighty wonder of God; every bad news you have experienced shall become a platform for a mega miracle; every challenge or difficulty that wants to embarrass you will attract divine intervention that will change your story.

Jairus was on the verge of mourning, but Jesus showed up and turned his mourning to a miracle. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your places of mourning shall become places of miracles. In places where you are on the verge of being put to shame, the God who rolled away the shame that was coming to Jairus will roll your shame away. The same God that turns mourning into dancing will turn your mourning into dancing.

Ask God to turn every negative situation around you into a testimony that will shock and marvel those around you. Ask God to cause dancing to arise from your mourning.

Testimonies shall arise out of every negative situation around me, in Jesus’ name!
