Upgraded By Jesus

Scripture Reading: Mark 11: 1-11

“And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.” (Mark 11: 7)

When the colt was brought to Jesus, people removed their clothes and put same on the colt before Jesus sat on it. A colt would ordinarily not wear a dress, but this colt came to Jesus, it was close to Jesus, and it wore a dress. The colt achieved what it would ordinarily not achieve because it came to Jesus. The colt experienced something higher than it ordinarily would. The colt got an upgrade because it came to Jesus.

Friend, as you come closer to Jesus, your life will get an upgrade. As you increase your proximity to Jesus, your destiny will leap higher than it has ever done. As you increase your fellowship with the Lord, your life will experience a quantum leap that it has never experienced before. As you deepen your roots in God and strengthen your walk with God, you will walk into realms that were previously inaccessible to you.

That colt was not about to come to Jesus and remain on the same level where it had always been. It came to Jesus, and things changed. As you come closer and closer to Jesus, things cannot and will not remain the same. As you come closer to Jesus, the things that were once beyond your reach will come closer to your reach. As you deepen your intimacy with Jesus, the boundaries you couldn’t cross before will be crossed with ease.

Nobody comes close to Jesus and remains the same. Nobody comes close to Jesus and does not experience a shift in destiny. Nobody encounters Jesus and stays glued to the same level. If indeed you have come to Jesus, then expect an upgrade. If you have come to Jesus, expect your results to experience a leap. If you have come closer to Jesus, expect a raise.

Remember, an upgrade came naturally the moment the colt came to where Jesus was. Come closer to Jesus, and your life will receive an upgrade.

As I come closer to Jesus, I get an upgrade, in Jesus’ name!
