You Are Evergreen

17th September 2021

Scripture Reading: Psalm 92: 1-12

Focus

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” (Psalm 92: 12)

One characteristic of the cedar tree is that its leaves are evergreen. They don’t change even when the weather is dry and harsh. They have the capacity to remain fresh in spite of the environment. Other trees may depend on the environment to determine when their leaves would be fresh, but the cedar tree doesn’t need that. Leaves of other trees may respond to climatic changes, but it is not so for leaves of cedar trees.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will remain evergreen despite your environment. You will keep radiating God’s goodness in spite of the help you have or the help you lack. You will keep rising higher irrespective of policies that want to stagnate you. You will keep making progress despite the wicked conspiracies that want you to remain at the same spot. You will continue to advance no matter how bad your terrain is.

You will remain a success even when failure reigns supreme. God will keep you fresh when others are dry. You have an anointing that preserves you from negative changes in your environment. By the force of God’s word, your finances, business, career, health, family, etc. will remain evergreen. You won’t be a victim of negative changes; you won’t be a victim of dryness you did not create. You will remain evergreen and ever fresh.

Green leaves usually remain on the tree, while dry leaves easily go down. Hear me as I hear the Lord: when others go down, you will remain in your high places. When others lose grounds, you will gain new grounds. You will not be an example of those who went down because of the dryness that abounds. You will not be an example of one in a cycle of rising and falling.

God is the environment in which you survive, and if He is evergreen, you too will be evergreen.

Declaration

I shall remain evergreen even when others dry up, in Jesus’ name!
