Your Time Is Restored

26th July 2020

Scripture Reading: Nehemiah 2: 1-9

Focus

“And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.” (Nehemiah 2: 6)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when Nehemiah announced that he set a time for the king. The word ‘set’ as used in that scripture comes from the Hebrew word ‘nathan’. Another meaning of ‘nathan’ is ‘restore’. So Nehemiah was speaking of restoration when he set time for the king. He seemed to realize that time had been lost, and he began to speak of restoration. He was simply calling forth the restoration of lost time.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every time you have lost in life is being restored. May your time be restored. May everything you lost in time be restored. May every opportunity you lost in time be restored. May every relevance and influence that eluded you in time be restored. May everything you lost out on in your lost days, be restored. May you witness an unprecedented restoration of the times you have lost.

When God restores, He doesn’t just give you back the much you lost. He gives you much more than you ever lost. God restores with compensation. Get set: in this season, you shall witness restoration with compensation. You will not just get back what you lost; you will get back more than you lost. You will regain lost grounds and gain new grounds; you will regain lost positions and gain new positions; you will regain your time with compensation.

When the enemy comes to steal your time, he doesn’t just steal days; he steals years. The enemy’s plan is for years to pass by, with nothing tangible to show for it. Hear me as I hear the Lord: henceforth, your time will no longer be stolen. The enemy will not have an upper hand in your time. Your time will not become a tool in the hands of the enemy. Your time will not be polluted.

Redeem your time if you sense that the enemy has stolen some of it. Ask God to restore every time in your life that the enemy stole.
