A Better Offer

29th February 2020

Scripture Reading: Ruth 2: 15-18

Focus

“And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.” (Ruth 2: 16)

When Ruth came to the field of Boaz, she came as a poor widow who came to take from the portion that was reserved for strangers; but in a matter of time, she got married to Boaz and became a part owner of the field she came to glean from. She initially came to get food to survive with, and she got it; but God showed up with a better plan and she became the wife of the owner of the field. God removed the good and brought the better.

Friend, you may already be part of a good plan, you may be part of a good arrangement, you may have got something that is good enough to make you smile, but hear me as I hear the Lord: God is sending you a better plan. God is granting you better offers. God is giving you a better job; God is making a provision that is better than what you already have to come your way; God is causing the good to give way for the batter to come.

Ruth may have already been satisfied that she could get food to help her survive; but the God who is a specialist in giving more showed up on her behalf and gave her a better portion. You may already be satisfied with your portion, but God is sending you a better offer; you may already be happy with the caliber of clients you have, but God is sending you much better clients; God is sending you more even if you are already satisfied.

When Jehovah is involved, there are always more crowns to wear and more thrones to sit on. When Jehovah is involved, He interrupts your good in order to give you something better, and He even removes your better in order to let you have the best. When God is for you, even when you are satisfied, there is more that you can still have; when God is for you, there is more.

Get set for your better options; get ready to receive better offers; get ready to have your good replaced with better; get set to have your better replaced with the best.

Declaration

My good shall be replaced with the better; I receive better offers, in Jesus’ name!
