All Things Are Ready

12th October 2021

Scripture Reading: Joshua 5: 13-15, 6: 1-6

Focus

“13. And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand… 14. And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come…” (Joshua 5: 13-14)

In our Focal Scripture, Joshua came in contact with an angel of the Lord with a drawn sword. That angel did not have a sword that was still in the sheathe. He had a sword that has already been pulled out of the sheathe, ready to cut down whatever and whomsoever needed to be cut down. That angel of the Lord was in a state of readiness to deliver Joshua’s new season. Simply put, God was ready to deliver the portion of Joshua.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God is ready to deliver your portion. God is ready to open those doors you have been believing Him to open. God is ready to rewrite the story of your life for good. God is ready to open new chapters of grace and mercy on your behalf. God is ready to cause the old to pass away and cause the new to emerge. God is ready to make your crooked places to become smooth. God is ready with your new season.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: your divine help is ready. Your new doors and gates are ready. Your helpers are ready. Your approvals are ready. Your victory is ready. Your advancement is ready. Your next level is ready. Your new season is ready. Your elevation is ready. Your celebrations and congratulations are ready. Your thrones and crowns are ready. Your portion is ready. Your position in high places, is ready. God is ready.

That angel did not show up to discuss with the walls of Jericho. He was ready for the battle as Joshua saw him. There was no room for delay in his assignment on behalf of Joshua. Hear me as I hear the Lord: there will be no delay as your new season emerges. You will not wait for long before your prayers are answered. You will not wait for long before you receive the help of God and of men. You will no longer be delayed.

Welcome to your new season: all things are ready. God is ready with your portion.
