Scripture Reading: John 2: 1-11

Focus

“And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.” (John 2: 6)

When Jesus got set to intervene in the matter of the finished wine in the wedding in Cana of Galilee, He used the six waterpots in the wedding venue as a tool for the miracle. Those waterpots were meant to store water for the washing of hands and feet. The waterpots were meant for a purpose. They were meant to carry water, but they soon began to contain wine. Once, their ‘result’ was water; later, they produced different results.

Friend, I am aware that your six ‘waterpots’ may have given you water again and again, but in this new season, they shall produce different results. Your ‘waterpots’ shall yield uncommon results that you have never seen; you shall receive uncommon results from the same places that had nothing special to offer you in time past; you shall have special results from the same places that had nothing special to offer in the past.

The same waterpots produced different results. Hear me as I hear the Lord: that relationship that previously had nothing to offer shall soon yield different results. That open door that already had predictable results shall yield a new set of results that will blow your mind. That opportunity that had nothing much and nothing new to offer shall soon offer you unbelievable results that will blow your mind.

When Jehovah is involved, there is no end to the possibilities that can become your reality. If God be for you, there can be no end to the new results that will arise from your old places. Get set: even from places you have written off and expected nothing much, God will cause mighty miracles to arise therefrom. The same God that caused ordinary waterpots to become pots of wine will turn your own ‘waterpots’ into pots of wine.

Ask God to turn your ‘waterpots’ into pots of wine. Ask God to cause extraordinary results to arise from your ordinary places.
