Divine Timing

14th May 2020

Scripture Reading: John 2: 1-11

Focus

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.” (John 2: 4)

When Mary brought Jesus that He may intervene in the matter of the couple in Cana of Galilee, Jesus reminded her that His hour had not yet come. Mary knew that Jesus had the capacity to do something to turn that situation around, but she didn’t know when that phase of His life should begin. She knew the power of God was resident in Him, but she didn’t know the specific timing of manifestation. She had a revelation about the timing of Jesus, but didn’t have the specific details.

Friend, I pray for you: may God open your eyes to see specific details of divine timing and divine purpose. May God opens your eyes to see where you are in the divine calendar; may God open your eyes to see details of the future that is yet to unfold; God will open your eyes to see what you ought to be doing in the future and even in the now; God will open your eyes to see divine specifics so that you will not be confused about the times.

In this season, God is in need of men who care to know what He is saying; God is in need of men who can provide direction for their generation on the basis of insight into divine plans; God is in need of men who can show the way for others to follow on the basis of what they have heard from Him; God is in need of men who will be watchers of time, and who can accurately tell what time it is in the realm of the Spirit.

The time of living randomly with absolutely no insight into divine timing is over. The time of seeing things physically without first seeing same spiritually is over. The time of operating without clear cut instructions and divine perspectives is over. The time of living like one who is merely waiting for tomorrow to unfold is over. You were not redeemed to remain in darkness; you were redeemed to be the light and show the way.

There is a generation that is waiting for men with divine insight and men who are accurate in their understanding of divine timing. Get deeper in your walk with God and He will reveal the depths of the Spirit to you.

Declaration
