Unlikely Miracles

Divinely Fulfilled

Scripture Reading: John 19: 28-30

Focus

“After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.” (John 19: 28)

In our Focal Scripture, in order for the scriptures to be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I thirst”. That matter of thirst may have been essentially insignificant, it was one word that didn’t need to be fulfilled; but because it was God’s word for the life of Jesus, it had to be fulfilled. Because it was God’s word that had been written, it had to be fulfilled. Because God had said it, it had to be fulfilled. Because it was a word from heaven, it had to be fulfilled.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every word that God has spoken concerning you will be fulfilled. Every prophecy made concerning your life shall be fulfilled. Every word that God has spoken concerning your life shall be fulfilled. Everything that is written in scriptures for your benefit shall be fulfilled. Every promise that God has made to those in a covenant with Him shall be fulfilled in you if you have embraced Christ.

Jesus didn’t need to go thirsty in order to fulfill His divine mandate of dying for the sins of the world, but because it was already written, it had to be fulfilled. God was careful to look out for even the minutest detail of what He said, in order that it might be fulfilled. Hear me as I hear the Lord: God will look out for even the minutest detail of His word for your life that it might be fulfilled. God will watch over His word to perform it.

God’s word concerning your life this year will be fulfilled. As scriptures say that none of these diseases shall come near you, it will be fulfilled; as scriptures say that God has set before you an open door, it will be fulfilled; as scriptures say that you shall enjoy the riches of the Gentiles, it will be fulfilled; as scriptures say that God will satisfy you early, it will be fulfilled; as scripture say that none shall lack her mate, it will be fulfilled.

God’s word is more that just a promise; God’s word has a guaranteed fulfillment. God will cause His word concerning you to come to pass.

Declaration

O Lord, fulfill your word over my life, in Jesus’ name!
