Nehemiah requested from the king that he be given letters that would be addressed to governors of provinces, that they may convey him to Judah. Nehemiah didn’t want a journey that would stop on the way; he wanted one that would end in peace and in praise. He didn’t want a journey that would end in a shipwreck; he didn’t want to be attacked or captured on the way; he wanted to arrive at Judah safely.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your journey shall be in safety. I decree safety to your movements in destiny. As you move about to attend to your daily schedule, safety will be your portion. As you navigate through the murky waters of human dealings, your life will be safe. As you make achievements that will make you the envy of many, safety shall be your portion. As you move towards your goals, safety will be your portion.
There may be danger all around, but you will be safe. People may be endangered all over, but you will be safe. Your family will be safe; your children will be safe; your home will be safe; your spouse will be safe; your business will be safe; your career will be safe; your health will be safe; your finances will be safe; no matter how the wind of adversity tosses you around, you will be safe. No matter the battles, you will be safe.
By virtue of the king’s letter in favour of Nehemiah, safety was guaranteed. By virtue of the word of the Lord concerning you, safety is your portion. It doesn’t matter how unsafe your environment, city, workplace, etc may have become; you will remain safe from harm. You will remain safe no matter the haters around you; you will remain safe no matter the turbulence around you.
If you have embraced the Lordship of Jesus, then safety is your right in Christ. Your safety is guaranteed by the blood of Jesus.
