Scripture Reading: John 5: 1-11

“For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.” (John 5: 4)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that season when an Angel came and stirred the waters, and anyone who was first to step into the pool was healed. There was a season when healing ought to happen in the pool of Bethesda. Healing in Bethesda was seasonal; it was not yet time for an Angel to show up, but Jesus showed up and that man at the pool was healed. Jesus brought healing without following the calendar of the pool.

Friend, you may be familiar with the calendar that regulates your expectations, you may be aware of the time when certain expectations can be fulfilled, but today, hear me as I hear the Lord: your expectations will be fulfilled outside of the calendar of men. Your desires will become your reality ahead of the expected time when it should happen. You will walk into good news that will come ahead of schedule. Your good news will come before the time that men appointed for it to happen.

The Angel was yet to show up, the time for a miracle was yet to come, but Jesus showed up and made a miracle happen for that man who had been at the pool of Bethesda. Hear me as I hear the Lord: others may say it is not yet the time, but God will make it your time. God is making this time your time to be blessed; God is interrupting the affairs of men for your sake. God is interrupting the calendar of men to favour you.

Get set: your expectations will not wait till the time appointed by men. It will happen anytime. Your expansion will not wait for government policy before it happens. Your next level will come even when the time for it to happen is yet to show up. Your good news will locate you in times when men have no expectation of good news. Your miracles will come against the run of play. In a season that should be empty, you will be full.

You serve a God that controls times and season; and even when the calendar of men says no to your miracle, you will still have your miracle.

My miracle will not come by the calendar of men, in Jesus’ name!
