Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 37: 1-14

Focus

“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,” (Ezekiel 37: 1)

In our Focal Scripture, Ezekiel tells the tale of how the hand of the Lord was upon him and carried him out in the Spirit of the Lord and brought him to a valley which was full of bones. Ezekiel would eventually prophesy to those bones and they all came back to life. So the hand of the Lord was upon Ezekiel, and it carried him to the place of his assignment. The first thing the hand of the Lord did in the life of Ezekiel was to unveil his assignment.

Notice that as Ezekiel was in that valley that was full of bones, he prophesied and the dry bones came back to life. In the place of his assignment, God caused a mighty miracle to happen. In the place of his assignment, what had never happened before in bible times happened. Ezekiel came to the place of his assignment, and became a witness to an unbelievable miracle. Simply put, a miracle was unveiled in the place of assignment.

Friend, one major responsibility of the hand of the Lord in your life is to bring you to the place of your assignment. You were not necessarily created to merely enjoy life and pass away without fulfilling your divine assignment. You were created and raised for a destiny assignment. You were raised to fulfill a task that heaven designed for you. You were created to serve heaven’s purpose. The hand of the Lord upon you needs to speedily carry you into your assignment.

If only you will not deviate from your assignment, you will receive your miracle. If only you will give priority to your God given assignment, you will become a recipient of miracles that others have never witnessed before. If you face your assignment, you will one day be carried into a level of relevance and influence you did not bargain for. If you stay on your assignment, you will advance against all odds, no matter the dynamics.

Ask the Lord to cause you to understand your assignment. Ask the Lord to carry you into the place of your assignment.
