Helped By Haters

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 30: 1-20

Focus

“And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water;” (1 Samuel 30: 11)

Whilst pursuing after the Amalekites, David and his men found an Egyptian slave who eventually took them to the camp of the Amalekites. That slave would later explain that he was amongst the gang that invaded David’s abode in Ziklag. So he was amongst the enemies of David. He was amongst the haters that came against David, but in a matter of time, he turned around and became the one who showed David the way to recovery.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your enemies are about to become messengers for your progress. The same men that came against you in time past will work for you to make progress. The same people who pulled you down in the past will become messengers for your rising. The same people who worked against you in the past will work in your favour. The same people who made a mess of your past will work for your future.

That Egyptian slave did not ordinarily intend to show David where his wives, children and possessions were hidden away. Circumstances simply connived to give him no choice but to help David. Hear me as I hear the Lord: circumstances will connive to turn your haters into helpers. Circumstances will force those who worked against you in the past to work for your good. The hand of the Lord will turn your haters into supporters.

Don’t lose sleep on account of those who have chosen to work against you. When they are done working against you, God will turn their hearts around and they will work for you. When your haters are done with their hate, God will convert them into supporters. When your opposers are done with their opposition, God will cause them to become helpers of destiny.

Get set to receive help from those that once worked against you. Get set to be helped by the people who once fought against you.
