His Word Prevails

21st September 2020

Scripture Reading: Mark 11: 1-11

Focus

“And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?” (Mark 11: 5)

As Jesus’ disciples untied the colt, some men began to query them for daring to loose the colt from where it was tied. Those men showed up when the colt was about to advance beyond where it was, and they raised conversations to query the impending advancement of the colt. They saw the colt already being untied, but their appearance was too late to stop the movement of the colt towards Jesus.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: any man that wants to halt the process of your advancement will be too late to turn the tables. Your opposers will come too late to be able to spoil your good news. Those that do not want you to rise higher will be late as they show up to stop you. Those that have a problem with the goodness of God towards you will be too late to turn back the hands of the clock. Your adversaries will come late.

Those men showed up, but Jesus had already given marching orders; their words came too late to make any impact whatsoever. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the words of your adversaries will be too late to make a difference. Those that want to speak against you will realize, albeit a bit late, that whatever they said to stop you came rather too late to make a difference. Your opposers will be too late to make an impact.

The word that Jesus spoke concerning that colt prevailed over and above the machinations of those men who took it upon themselves to query the freedom of the colt. Hear me again: the word of the Lord will prevail over and above the machinations of those that are against you. The word of the Lord will defeat those who may have plotted to make a mess of your good fortune. The word of the Lord will destroy the tokens of your opposers.

Focus on what God has said concerning you, and pay less attention to the multitude of those who have vowed that God’s word for you will not be fulfilled. As surely as the Lord lives, His word for you will not fail.
