Scripture Reading: Esther 6: 1-14

Focus

“On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.” (Esther 6: 1)

Mordecai’s miracle began when the king heard what was written in the book of Chronicles. Something was written in Mordecai’s favour, and it led to his elevation. What was written led to Mordecai’s elevation. The book of Chronicles that was read before the king was a record kept by kings and for kings. So Mordecai’s miracle began from what was written, albeit by a man.

Friend, if what was written by a mere mortal could lead to elevation, then what God has written concerning you will trigger your elevation to the next level. God’s word will orchestrate your healing and liberation from the shackles of darkness; God’s word will orchestrate the opening of new doors for your destiny; God’s word will usher you into a new season of increase; God’s word will change your story for good.

The proclamation of what was written concerning Mordecai led to his elevation. When you proclaim what God has written concerning you, you are simply calling forth the fulfillment of God’s word. Today, proclaim God’s word concerning you; proclaim that you are the head and not the tail; proclaim that you are God’s righteousness in Christ Jesus; proclaim that you are the child of the King of Kings; proclaim that your lines fall in pleasant places.

The mere fact that something good was written about Mordecai did not necessarily change his story; it was the proclamation of what was written that turned the tide. You do yourself no favours if you view the word of the Lord as something to be known or heard or enjoyed but not proclaimed. Let the word of the Lord be on your lips without ceasing. Proclaim the word with an understanding that your next miracle depends on it.

Remember, what was written about Mordecai brought forth results when it was proclaimed. Proclaim the word of the Lord, and it will give you results.

Declaration

The word of the Lord will never cease from my lips, in Jesus’ name!

Memory Verse

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
