Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the ship that carried Jesus’ disciples was tossed with waves in the midst of the sea. One of the meanings of the word ‘toss’ is ‘back and forth’. So the waves in the sea caused that ship to move back and forth. It moved forward and then moved backwards. Each time it gained distance, it thereafter lost distance. Each time it advanced, it retrogressed. So that ship made movements without really making progress.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be tossed around in destiny. You will not move forward and then move backward; you will not advance and lose the progress you have made; you will not gain and lose at the same time; you will not make profit and then lose it all through bad losses; you will not be stagnated in the midst of your journey; you will not be a wanderer in destiny, making movements without real progress.
Every back and forth movement in your destiny, I decree, it ends now. No more advancement and retrogression in one swoop. No more forward and backward movement. Every power of hell that wants to create a cycle of back and forth movement in your life, I send them parking. Every structure that has been laid to ensure that you keep moving forward and backward, let the fire of God arise and destroy it.
Instead of being tossed about, you will keep making progress upon progress. Your path shines brighter and brighter. Your movement shall be forward ever and backward never. You will not lose grounds, favors, opportunities, relationships, successes, etc you already gained. Every progress you make shall be followed by more and more progress. Your progress shall be consolidated again and again.
The cycle of back and forth movements in your life has been broken. No more shall it be said that you moved forward and then moved backward.
