Scripture Reading: Mark 11: 1-11

Focus

“And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.” (Mark 11: 2)

The colt that Jesus sent His disciples to fetch for Him was tied. Because it was tied, it could not move. It was positioned in a manner that made movement impossible. It was positioned in a manner that made it difficult for the colt to move from one place to another. It was positioned in such a way as to hinder the colt from enjoying ease and freedom in movement. It was positioned to see others move, but it couldn’t move.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every chain that is stopping your movement and advancement, I command it to break now. I command every arrangement that has stagnated your movement to scatter by the power of God. I command every structure that has been set up to stop you, to be consumed by the fire of God. Every chain that has held you back from making appreciable progress, today, I decree, it is broken.

That colt was caught in a place where it would see others moving, but it couldn’t move, not because it didn’t want to move, but because some hands tied it. Hear me again: if there be any hand that has stopped you from making the movements you desire to make, today I decree, let those hands be broken to pieces. Let every stopper of your movement be stopped by the hand of the Lord. Let every opposer of your progress be removed.

The people who tied the colt would have made a little allowance in whatever rope they used, and that colt would have been able to move a little, within the boundaries that the rope permitted. That colt could make a little movement, but it could not make progress. Hear me as I hear the Lord: any movement in your life that is without progress, I command it to end now. I command the cycle of unfruitful movements to end now.

The season of stagnation is over. Arise, move by the strength of the Lord. Break every limit. Rise above your confinement.

Declaration
