Don’t Walk Away

No Distractions

2nd July 2022

Scripture Reading: Judges 16: 1-25

Focus

“Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her.” (Judges 16: 1)

In our Focal Scripture, Samson went to Gaza and fell in love with a harlot. Gaza was a Philistine territory. God had mandated Samson to take charge of the deliverance of Israel (see Judges 13 vs. 5). So Samson came to a place where he ought to face the assignment of taking down the enemies of Israel, and all he did was to fall in love with a harlot. Samson came to the place of his assignment, but his focus was wrong and misdirected.

Friend, in this second half of 2022, don’t lose your focus. Don’t lose sight of that divine assignment on your life. Don’t misdirect your focus towards the very things that will take you away from the things that matter. Don’t make the mistake of focusing on the things that will take your eyes away from the main target. Don’t lose your focus. Don’t make room for distractions. Don’t permit the enemy to give you an agenda that will kill your focus.

Samson went to the same place where he should crush the enemies of Israel, but he fell in love instead. He went to the place where he should fulfill his God-given purpose and assignment, but he was too distracted. In the second half of 2022, break away from every distraction that is taking your eyes away from your mandate. Break away from every relationship that is getting in the way of your divine assignment. Break away from distraction.

Eliminate every person from your life that doesn’t understand the seriousness of your life’s purpose and assignment. They are satanic distractions, and if you make room for them, they will take the room that your purpose and assignment should occupy. If they make you lose sight of your mission and purpose, cut them off. If it makes you work against your purpose, it is an enemy you don’t need. Don’t make room for any distraction.

Keep your eyes on what matters; and even if you are the only one that is focused in your locale, stay focused against all odds.

Declaration

In this second half of the year, no room for distractions, in Jesus’ name!
