No Fruitless Efforts

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 30: 1-20

Focus

“And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” (1 Samuel 30: 8)

In our Focal Scripture, God told David to pursue, overtake and recover all. David was to begin with pursuing the enemies that came against him. David was to begin with the activity of pursuing the people that took what belonged to him. Notice that after the pursuit and overtaking, David was going to recover all that he lost. He was to move from taking actions to seeing results. He was to move from activity to results.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are moving from activity to results. You are moving from the place of efforts to the place of results. You are moving from the place of strategy to the place of results. You are moving from merely planning to succeed, to the point where success will manifest on all sides. You are moving from wandering to possession. You are moving from mere activity to activities that will birth results.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: the days of fruitless efforts are over. The days of labouring and ending up empty handed, are over. The days when you will strive to engage in activities only for results to elude you, are over. The days of working hard with nothing to show for it, are over. The days of efforts without commensurate results, are over. The days of doing so much and ending up with so little, are over. The days of unfruitful efforts, are over.

When Jehovah is involved, your results will exceed your efforts. When God is with you in your movement in destiny, you will not only hit your targets but you shall have results that far outweigh the efforts you could ever put in. When God is for you, your efforts will have divine backing. If God be for you, your results will not be tampered with. If God be for you, your results will not be stolen or exchanged.

On the flipside, don’t make the mistake of getting carried away with the efforts you are making, and activities you are involved in, and forget the results you ought to have in the end. If efforts must get in, then results must come forth.
