Verse two of our Scripture Reading reveals that the dry bones were scattered in the open valley. It was not a valley that was closed or had cover; it was a valley that was open. That valley was so open that the men who eventually became dry bones became victims therein. It was a valley that was open to every enemy that was against them, and they ended up dead, decayed and dry. It was a valley without defence, open to the enemy.
Friend, if your life is without defence, the enemy will make mincemeat of you. If your life remains open for every enemy of your destiny to walk in at will, you just might become a valley of dry bones, sooner than later. If your life is unprotected, the adversary will come against you and crush you in unguarded moments. If you keep straying into the open valleys of this world, you just might end up slain by the forces that are waiting to kill.
Today, I pray for you: every opening in your life that is an entry point for the enemy, I cover it with the blood of Jesus. Any opening in your family that allows the enemy to come in at will, I cover it with the blood of Jesus. Any open door in your health that the enemy is exploiting, I close it now. Any entry point that the enemy has created for himself in your life, in order to wreck your destiny, I close it by fire.
Jesus did not redeem you so that you can be wasted in the open valley. Jesus did not empower you so that you can become a victim of satanic manipulations and machinations. You were redeemed to walk in dominion; you were redeemed to crush the forces of darkness and halt the progress of negativity. Jesus redeemed you so that you can stop the intrusion of the enemy into your life and the lives of those around you.
Ask God to heighten the divine defence upon your life. Ask God to shield you from being a prey of the enemy.
