No Management

12th April 2020

Scripture Reading: Mark 16: 1-20

Focus

“And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.” (Mark 16: 1)

The three women in our Focal Scripture bought sweet spices with which they intended to anoint Jesus. By their calculations, Jesus was already dead and buried; by their calculations, His body would begin to decay in a matter of time, and they just wanted to anoint the body with sweet spices that would preserve it. Their plan was to manage the body in its condition before decay occurs. They essentially came to manage a bad situation.

God could have chosen to let the dead body of Jesus remain in the grave, but He caused both body and spirit to rise from the grave. It was a complete resurrection. So there was nothing for the three women to anoint. It was a complete miracle that ruled out the need for management by the women. It was a miracle that made it unnecessary to add human efforts. It was a miracle that God did and it was perfect and complete.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your miracles shall be complete. God will grant you perfect miracles that will not require any form of management. God will cause you to have perfect health that does not require any management by you or your doctor; God will cause a financial turn around for you in a manner that will not allow you to manage or struggle financially anymore; God will remove the need for management.

The days of managing bad situations are over. The days of struggling with unpalatable circumstances are over. Henceforth, God will turn around your waste places; God will turn the tables in your favour; God will cause you to experience completion in the areas of your life where there are gaps that God alone can fill. God will address the situations that are causing you secret tears; God will lift you out of every pit your life is stuck in.

The days of mere management are over. Get ready for complete miracles. Get set for perfect miracles.
