No Prolonged Negativity

12th November 2019

Scripture Reading: Matthew 14: 22-33

Focus

“But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.” (Matthew 14: 24)

In our Focal Scripture, the ship that carried Jesus’ disciples was tossed by waves in the midst of the sea. Typically, the longer the wind blows, the more likely it is to cause waves. So apparently, a wind had blown for a long duration, and it led to the waves that endangered the ship that carried Jesus’ disciples. It was a trouble that arose because of what had lasted long. Put differently, it was an issue of prolonged negativity.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every negativity that has lasted long in your life, today is the expiry date. I command every prolonged negativity that has ravaged your life to cease now; I command every health challenge that has lingered for too long to give way; I command every bondage that has lingered to give way; I command every stagnation that has lingered to give way; I command every prolonged battle to end now.

If there be any negative wind that has arisen against you, halt it immediately before it becomes a prolonged negativity. Interrupt every onslaught of the enemy against you with your prayers; create prophetic boundaries in the place of prayer, where the enemy must never cross; don’t even allow extra time for any negativity that has arisen to exist in your life; don’t allow any evil to last longer than it already has.

If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then you belong to the generation that interrupts the enemy when he shoots his arrows. If Jesus has set you free, enforce your liberty in Christ and give the enemy no space to operate. If Christ has redeemed you, it should be outlawed for the enemy to step into your life and environment to do as he pleases.

Issue a quit notice to every prolonged negativity that is playing out in your life; don’t give the enemy more space to operate in your destiny.

Declaration

Every prolonged negativity in my life, terminate by fire, in Jesus’ name!
