Crowned On Purpose

No Public Tears

16th June 2021

Scripture Reading: Mark 5: 1-20

Focus

“And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.” (Mark 5: 5)

The man with the unclean spirit, according to our Focal Scripture, was often in the mountains, crying. He had the capacity to rise to the mountain, but all he did there was to cry. He got strategic positioning, and it came with tears. He was positioned in a high place that helped to advertise his tears for all to see. He was in a place where his tears could not be hidden. What he may have preferred to call private tears became public tears.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every attack of the enemy that wants to cause you to shed public tears, today I cancel it. Let the Lord arise and scuttle every evil plot of the kingdom of darkness to make you shed public tears. Let the Lord arise against every challenge that wants you to be mocked in public space. Let the Lord arise against every trouble that wants to make you a negative spectacle. Let the Lord arise against every public disgrace.

It was bad enough that the man with an unclean spirit was laboring under affliction, but it became worse when everyone had to see his tears whenever he cried. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every attempt of the enemy to make bad matters in your life to become worse, let the Lord arise and scatter it. Every plot of the enemy to make your secret tears to become public tears, I command it to end now. I command your secret tears to be halted.

Jesus was made manifest so that the works of the enemy can be destroyed. If there be any work of darkness that is causing tears in your life, I command it to cease now. I command every source of secret and public tears to dry up. I shut every door that is inviting issues that will cause you to cry in public. I shut every door that is attracting negativity that will embarrass you publicly. I shut every door of negative emergency.

The days of public tears, public shame and public embarrassment, are over. No longer shall negativity follow you into public space.

Declaration
