No Stagnation

Scripture Reading: Mark 10: 46-52

Focus

“And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.” (Mark 10: 52)

Our Focal Scripture reveals that after Bartimaeus received his sight, he followed Jesus in the way. This was the same Bartimaeus who simply sat and begged. He had been in the place of stagnation, but Jesus turned his life around, restored his sight, and he moved from one who was stuck at a spot to one who was on the move. Bartimaeus moved from being stagnated to being on the move. Movement was restored to Bartimaeus.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: movement is restored to every area of your life that was stagnant. In the places where you could not advance, God is causing you to advance. In the places where you could not make progress, the empowerment for progress is being restored. God is breaking the power of stagnation over your life. God is causing you to rise again in the places where you were down. Your movement is restored.

Get set: God is causing you to have the feet of a warrior, and you will move in places where others have been unable to move. You will move in places where you have simply watched others move. You will move ahead of those who started their journey before you. You will move up in your career; you will move in your finances; your business will move; your family will move; your fortunes will move; the power of stagnation is broken.

Bartimaeus did not just get the privilege of moving for one day; he got the restoration that empowered him to move whenever he wanted. He got the empowerment that enabled him to see by himself and move by himself. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in the places where you once depended on others for your own movement or direction, the Lord is causing you to arise and move. Your capacity to advance is restored.

The season of being at the same spot is over in your life. The power of stagnation is broken over you. No longer shall you sit in one place. No sickness will keep you in the same place. No power of hell will halt you.
