No Walls

Not A Victim

Scripture Reading: Acts 12: 1-19

Focus

“And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.” (Acts 12: 2)

In our Focal Scripture, Herod came against James the brother of John, and killed him with the sword. Herod was vexed with the church, and the first installment of his wickedness was to kill James. James became the victim of the wickedness of Herod. James went down as a result of the hatred that Herod had for an entire group. James was killed as a result of the decision of one man to cut down the church. James simply became a victim.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be a victim. You will not be cut down. You will not go down. You will not be a victim of spiritual wickedness in high places. You will not be sacrificed in order to please a mere mortal. You will not be a victim of the conspiracy of men. You will not be a victim of collective disaster. You will not be a victim of tragedies. You will not be counted amongst those whose light went off when it mattered most.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: every plan from the pit of hell to cut short your destiny, I command it to scatter by fire. I command every satanic conspiracy against you to scatter now. I command every secret plot against you to be exposed and destroyed. I command every handwriting of ordinance against you to end now. I command the haters that have gathered against you to go down. I command the weapons against you to scatter.

Jesus did not redeem you so that you can be a victim of those who do not like you. He did not redeem you so that the powers of darkness can pay a price to take you down. Your life is hid in Christ, and Christ in God; where then can the demonic gatekeepers find you? Where is that ‘Herod’ that wants your head on a platter? Where is that Herod that says you will not advance? Let the judgement of God arise and take him out.

People will not gather to tell you sorry. You will not bury and you will not be buried. You will not be a victim of wickedness.

Declaration

No ‘Herod’ will cut short my destiny, in Jesus’ name!
