Prepared Ahead Of Time

25th April 2020

Scripture Reading: Daniel 2: 1-22

Focus

“And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.” (Daniel 2: 1)

Before Nebuchadnezzar had his dreams, Daniel had already been endowed with the gift of understanding and interpretation of dreams. Daniel had capacity before he had the opportunity to consult for the king. Daniel was prepared and had built capacity before the opportunity for distinction showed up. Daniel had made progress within himself before the progress of finding royal opportunities came up. He was prepared ahead of time.

Friend, it may be desirable to have massive opportunities like Daniel had, it may be desirable to have the kings of this world call for you, it may be desirable to have patronage at the highest levels, it may be desirable to have people who will call for you and give you platforms to express your potentials, but you must first be prepared for those big opportunities you desire. Ensure that you have capacity before seeking opportunity.

Prepare yourself for the massive opportunities you desire; build capacity that will enable you operate at the highest levels of influence and relevance; grow your abilities to a level where they can attract the kings of this world to you; work on your content and dare to be better than you are currently; increase your knowledge base; increase your awareness of best practices; prepare yourself ahead of time for the greatness you desire.

Fortune often favours the well prepared. When an unprepared man comes face to face with mega opportunities, he is eclipsed and embarrassed by the opportunities; but when a prepared man comes in contact with mega opportunities, he is distinguished and promoted by the same opportunities that may have embarrassed an unprepared man. Your preparation is your key to relevance and undeniable visibility.

Don’t be counted among those who received huge opportunities but had no preparation ahead of time. Prepare yourself for greatness; build capacity.

Declaration

I build up my capacity; I shall be prepared ahead of time, in Jesus’ name!
