Speak To The Roots

26th July 2019

Scripture Reading: Luke 8: 22-25

Focus

: “But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.” (Luke 8: 23)

Our Focal Scripture gives some insight into the challenge that arose for Jesus and His disciples. It speaks of how a storm of wind came down on the lake, and caused the ship to be filled with water. The disciples could see the water, but the water was really not the main challenge; there was a wind that gave the waters the wrong vibes. There was a wind that caused the water to turn against Jesus and His disciples.

Water is generally seen, but wind in largely unseen, though its impact can be felt. So what was not being seen was causing a problem in the lake, and the lake turned against Jesus and His disciples. When Jesus later arose, He first rebuked the wind before speaking to the waters. Jesus rebuked the unseen hand that was behind the challenge. Jesus attacked the unseen force that was responsible for the challenge they faced.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every unseen hand that is causing you to experience negativity, I command it to cease now. Every force of hell that is causing a downturn in your business, career, family, marriage, ministry, finances, etc, I rebuke it by the word of the Lord, and I command it to cease immediately. Every power of darkness that is sponsoring the attacks against you, I arise against them, and I command them to cease.

Jesus spoke to the wind, and even the waters had no choice but to align. He spoke to the root of the challenge, and immediately, there was a difference. The same power that Jesus operated with here on earth is available to you if you have embraced His finished work. Speak against the roots of evil against you; speak against the unseen hands responsible for your challenges; speak against every satanic storm and command it to cease.

If you allow the wind some space, it will keep wrecking havoc in your life. Attack the wind and it will cease.

Declaration

Every satanic wind against me, end now, in Jesus’ name!
