You Will Do Better

Supernaturally Accomplished

13th April 2020

Scripture Reading: Mark 16: 1-20

Focus

“And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.” (Mark 16: 1)

The women that came to anoint the body of Jesus came to the grave and found that the body of Jesus was no longer there. They also found that the stone guarding the grave had been removed. They came with man-made spices, but when they arrived, they discovered that their man-made efforts were no longer necessary. Where they came with efforts, divinity had already taken charge and did more than they could have done.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: what you wanted to do for yourself, God has done it for you. God will fight those battles you were planning to fight; God has done that advert you wanted to do; God has opened those doors you have been plotting to open by yourself; God has crushed the opposition you have been planning to deal with; God has supernaturally accomplished what you have been plotting to accomplish.

This was a clear case of folding one’s arms and watching what God had already done. Those women had no idea of what God had done whilst they were on the way; but they got there to see that He had done it. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will show up in places to see what God already did for you in your absence. You will step into new grounds to see that God already went ahead of you to make new things happen for your sake.

What you wanted to do for yourself, God has done it for you. You will not shoot an arrow; you will not contact anybody; God will do it for you. You will not beg anybody; God will do it for you. You will not go through the process that others went through; God will do it for you. You will not cry bitter tears again; God will do it for you. You will not struggle like you used to struggle before; God will do it for you.

God will intervene with supernatural inputs that will grant you the results you have been looking for.

Declaration

I will not struggle; God will do it for me, in Jesus’ name!

Memory Verse

“For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.” (Psalm 44: 3)
