The Pressure Will Work

1st June 2019

Scripture Reading: Mark 5: 21-34

Focus

“When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.” (Mark 5: 27)

When the woman with the issue of blood heard of Jesus she joined in the press behind, and eventually touched the hem of His garment and got healed. She heard about Jesus, there was a multitude following Jesus, the people were pushing and pressing, and she joined. The word ‘press’ is the root word for ‘pressure’. So she joined in the pressure, and it worked in her favour. The pressure ended in her favour in a matter of time.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every pressure you are facing right now will work in your favour; the pressure you are currently facing will end in your favour; the pressures coming from different quarters will lift you higher and usher you into your next level; the pressures you are facing in your work place will work to lift you higher; the pressures you are facing right now in your family will end in praise and in your favour.

That woman with the issue of blood had faced enough challenges, she already had more than a fair share of troubles and pressures, but this new pressure came up and turned her story around for good. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the pressures of the past may have reduced you, but this current one will work and end in your favour. The pressures of yesterday may have broken you, but this one will build you up and raise you higher.

When Jesus is involved, the pressure works in your favour; when Jesus is involved, the pressures of this life will not break you but build you higher; when God is on your side, pressures may come from all directions, but through Jesus, you will be victorious in the end; no pressure will arise and put you out of circulation. No pressure will arise to cut short your destiny.

Ask God to align every pressure you face in the direction of your advancement. Ask God to cause every pressure you face to work and end in your favour.

Declaration

The pressures I face will work and end in my favour, in Jesus’ name!
