Thrones And Crowns

Thrones And Crowns

1st January 2020

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 10: 1-7

Focus

“Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?” (1 Samuel 10: 1)

In our Focal Scripture, Prophet Samuel took a vial of oil and poured same on the head of Saul; by that action, Saul had been anointed as King of Israel. By that singular act, Saul was billed to wear the crown of King; by that anointing, Saul was going to sit on the throne of Israel. By that anointing, Saul had effectively become the man in charge of the affairs of Israel. By that anointing, Saul had a crown to wear and a throne to sit on.

Friend, as 2020 begins, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will sit on your throne and you will wear your crown. God will enthrone you in every sphere of your life; God will empower you to take charge in your locale; God will empower you to take charge in your career, business, ministry, academics, vocation, finances, etc; God will position you on a throne of influence and relevance; God will cause you to reign and rule all year long.

Saul was anointed as King, and he took his place on the throne and wore his crown. His crown did not fit into another head; his throne was not given to another. Hear me again: this year, your crown will not fit another head; your throne will be too hot for anyone to sit on. Your place will not be taken by another. Your space will not be invaded by another. Your greatness will not be hijacked or exchanged.

Saul did not fight his way into kingship; it came by the word of the Lord; it was delivered to him on a platter of grace. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your access to your throne will come by grace. Grace will open the doors you never believed could be opened to you; grace will set you in high places; grace will speak for you; grace will make a way; grace will position you on the mountain of relevance and influence. Grace will fetch your thrones and crowns.

This year, your royalty in Christ shall find expression. Your crown and throne will reject every rival. Your crown and throne will never be exchanged. You will sit on your throne and wear your crown.

Declaration
