3 wise men

22nd December 2021

Scripture Reading: Matthew 2: 1-12

Focus

“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,” (Matthew 2: 1)

When Jesus was born, wise men came from the east to Jerusalem in search of Him. Jesus was yet to do a miracle, He was yet to heal the sick or raise the dead, He was yet to make any impact on the world He came to save, all that could be associated with Jesus were the prophecies of His birth and death, all that was available was revelations about His divine purpose, yet wise men came all the way to pay homage.

Jesus had the blessing of men who believed in Him even when He had nothing to show them; He had the blessing of men who only heard about Him and treated Him like the king He was; He was blessed to have men of value who didn’t need Him to convince them; He had the blessing of attracting men who could see what Herod was yet to see; He had the blessing of men who knew His potentials; He was blessed with wise men.

Friend, as 2021 gradually draws to a close, God will grant you the favour to attract wise men. God will bring you men who will believe totally in you even when you have nothing to show them; God will bring you men who will see signs of your greatness and give you full support; God will bring you men who will hear about you and treat you like royalty; God will send you men who understand your potentials. God will send you wise men.

One of life’s greatest blessings is the blessing of men who believe in you; one of life’s greatest blessings is the blessing of men who see your greatness even when you are yet to prove it to them. In this season, receive the blessing of wise men. Receive the blessing of men who are so great, yet recognize your potentials. Receive the blessing of men to whom you need not prove anything.

Ask God to send you your own wise men; ask God to send you men who will believe in you; ask God to send you men who don’t need you to prove anything to them; ask God to send you wise men.

Declaration

I receive my wise men; I receive men of value, in Jesus’ name!
