In our Focal Scripture, Jesus sent two disciples to go and get Him a colt that was tied at the entering in of the village He sent them to. That colt was tied, not in a hidden place, but in an open place where every passerby could see it and see its predicament. It was positioned in the place where it could be easily mocked; but Jesus gave that same description to the two disciples to identify the colt. The reason that colt was mocked became the same reason for it to be remembered for good.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the same reason why men have mocked you will be the reason why you will be celebrated and congratulated. The same reason why you shed tears of pain shall become the subject matter of your testimonies. The same reasons that made you hide your face in shame will be the same reason why men will gather to thank the Lord on your behalf. You will move from the place of being pitied to the place of being in the midst of dances of celebration.
That colt may have been previously described as the colt that was tied at the entering in of the village, but its identity soon changed and it became the colt that Jesus rode upon into Jerusalem. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your status is changing, and you are most definitely on your way to better days. You are walking away from your low places and walking into your wealthy places. You are moving from wandering to possession.
For every negative tag that circumstances have placed on you, God is bringing forth a huge turnaround that will change your story. For every pain that men have come to identify you with, God is causing a new tale of joy and gladness to spring forth. For every loss you have suffered, multiple gains shall be your portion. For all the times when men rejected you, God will cause new doors of good news and celebration to be opened to you.
Your story is about to change. Shame is about to turn to testimony.
