Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when David gathered the cattle which they took from the Amalekites, and took them unto himself. God granted victory to David and his men, but the spoils that came from that battle had David’s name on them. God granted victory to David and his men, but special benefits came to David himself. It was a victory for everyone, but it had David’s name on it.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God will cause you to walk into collective victories that will have your name on it. God will cause new gates to open around you, and it will have your name on it. God will cause opportunities with your name on it to arise. God will cause you to step into higher realms with your name on it. God will cause you to walk into collective provisions that will have your name on it. God will cause you to win battles that will come with spoils in your name.
Others fought the same battle with David, others joined him in making efforts, but it was David who eventually got spoils of the battle. By the efforts of others, David got spoils with his name on it. Hear me as I hear the Lord: others will labour but you will receive portions with your name on it. By the contribution of others, you will rise higher and higher. By the efforts of others, you will gain more grounds and more territories.
David’s men simply recovered what they lost to the Amalekites, but for David, he got more than what he lost. David got what he never even possessed before. David became wealthy as a result of a battle he fought alongside others. David advanced forward through the efforts of others. By the efforts of people around you, you will rise higher and move forward. By the efforts of others, your name will be on the next throne you sit on.
