SCRIPTURE READING | 1 SAMUEL 30:1-20
In Nehemiah 11 vs. 28, the city of Ziklag which had earlier been taken over by the Philistines was taken back by the inhabitants of Judah. Ziklag was once their possession, then they lost it, but in a matter of time, what they lost came back to them. There was a restoration of what they lost; there was a divinely orchestrated recovery of Ziklag by the inhabitants of Judah. Simply put, in a matter of time, what Judah lost was restored.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in this year of your joyful sounds, whatsoever you lost in the past is coming back to you. The territories you lost will be restored to you; the opportunities you lost are coming back to you; the higher levels you lost are coming back to you; the resources you lost are coming back to you; your health will be restored. There shall be a restoration of whatever God gave to you that the enemy took away.
It may have taken a while, but Ziklag was restored to the rightful owners. One generation lost it, and an entirely different generation received restoration. Hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter how long it takes, your portion will be restored to you; no matter how long it takes, whatsoever you lost shall be restored to you in full. Even the things that your past generation lost will be restored to you; you will receive what your fathers lost.
God gave Ziklag to His people, and when they lost it, He wouldn’t let the loss remain. He caused it to be returned to the rightful owners. When Jehovah is involved, He never forgets to bring back what was taken away from you. When Jehovah is involved, your losses are not final. When God is on your side, any person who has taken your portion will have no option but to return it.
Get set: your season of joyful sounds shall be filled with sounds of restoration.
DECLARE WITH ME
