In our Focal Scripture, God told Elijah to turn eastward. God commanded Elijah to move in the direction of the east. In Ezekiel 43 vs. 2, Ezekiel said, “…I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east”. The same Ezekiel also said that “The glory of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east” (vs. 4). The ‘east’ is symbolic of the entrance of glory. So God told Elijah to journey through the pathway of glory.
Friend, I pray for you: may your journey be through the pathway of glory. May the glory of the Lord rub off greatly on you. May the glory of the Lord be revealed through the works of your hands. May the glory of the Lord be seen in your career, business, ministry, vocation, finances, family, etc. May the glory of God be your new identity. May the glory of God envelope your destiny. May the glory of God cover and advertise you.
When the glory of the Lord came upon Moses, the people could not behold his face. When the glory of God comes on you, you will shine brighter than anyone around you. When the glory of God comes upon you, you will be perceived right by people. When glory rebrands you, glory will be your identity, and those who seek you will see the glory of God through you. When glory is on you, it compels those around you to submit to you.
The glory of God is the weight of God. When the glory shows up, people may not see God physically, but they will see the evidence of His presence. When the glory of God shows up, it creates the good and dismantles evil. The glory of the Lord lifts a man from the dust and sets him amongst princes. The glory of the Lord challenges status quo and breaks evil into pieces. The glory of the Lord will cause your results to be loud.
The glory of the Lord will cause a distinction in your life. The glory of God will answer for you. The glory of the Lord will advertise you to your generation.
