Scripture Reading: 1 SAMUEL 16: 1-14

Focus

“And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.” (1 Samuel 16: 1)

In our Focal Scripture, God told Prophet Samuel to fill his horn with oil. Samuel was not going to proceed to Bethlehem until he had filled his horn with oil. Notice that the horn was not going to be half filled or partly filled. It was a horn that was going to be filled to the brim. God was about to do a new thing, and He wouldn’t use a horn that was not filled to the brim. For what God was about to do, completion was required.

Friend, are you at that point where it seems that what the Lord is doing in your life is incomplete? Are you at that point where the works of God in your life appear without being full? Are you at that point where your testimonies seem like horns that are not yet filled? Are you at that point where your expectations are showing up in half measures? Are you at that point where your portions from heaven seem incomplete?

Today, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will experience the fullness of your miracle. You will experience the fullness of the works of God in your life. You shall experience the fullness of your elevation and congratulations. You shall experience the fullness of your breakthroughs. You shall experience the fullness of divine intervention. You shall experience the fullness of the grace of God upon your life. Your horns shall be filled.

Today, enter the fullness of your testimony; enter the fullness of your expectations; enter the fullness of your prophecies and promises. There will be no half measures; whatsoever the Lord is doing in your life shall be full, nothing missing and nothing broken. For all those who have made you promises but they are yet to deliver, let there be fullness. For everything the Lord has started already, let there be fullness and completion.

If God has started it, then He will complete it. If God has commanded it to be done, then your horn shall be filled to the brim.

Declaration

My horn shall be filled; my expectations shall be complete; no more half measures, in Jesus’ name!
