NO MISTAKES

23rd August 2023

Scripture Reading: 1 KINGS 3: 16-28

Focus

“And this woman's child died in the night; because she overlaid it.” (1 Kings 3: 19)

It is instructive to observe that the harlot who lost her child, was the very person that caused the child to die. She received a new thing from the Lord, but she laid on her child and the child died. She literally suffocated her own child by her own carelessness. It was not the case of ill health; it was not an enemy that came to kill the child; she literally killed her own child by herself. She used her own hands and brought a tragedy on herself.

Friend, I pray for you: may it never be said that you used your own hands and killed what God Himself put in your hands. May it never be said that you used your own hands to suffocate the new things that heaven put in your hands. May it never be said that you were the architect of your own downfall. May it never be said that you caused your own greatness to crumble. May it never be said that you caused your own losses by your error.

The child of the harlot died because she laid on the child. The bad news that came to her came as a result of her own mistake. I pray for you: you will not make mistakes that will cause your good news to turn to bad news. You will not make mistakes that will make you cry. You will not make mistakes that will cause you to suffer loss. You will not make mistakes that will midwife tragedies in your life. You will not make harmful mistakes.

Every projection of the enemy to cause you to make mistakes that will pull you down, may the fire of God answer in your favour. Every satanic enchantment that wants to make you the architect of your own mistakes, may the hand of the Lord deliver you from it. May the hand of the Lord deliver you from every arrangement of hell that wants to use you against yourself. May the Lord deliver you from your own errors.

You will not orchestrate your own downfall. You will not be the enemy of your own advancement. The enemy will not use you against yourself.

Declaration

I will not work against myself; I will not make mistakes that will cause me to suffer loss, in Jesus’ name!
