THE GIFT OF MEN

26th Oct 2023

Scripture Reading: 1 KINGS 1: 32-49

Focus

“And king David said, Call me Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they came before the king.” (1 Kings 1: 32)

Before the emergence and enthronement of Solomon as king, David summoned Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. Three men were drafted in to support the enthronement of Solomon. So on the way to his enthronement, Solomon had the blessing of connections. Solomon had the gift of men who were there to support his kingship. Solomon had the gift of men who strengthened his throne.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in this season, God is granting you the gift of men. God is granting you the gift of men who will help you on your way to the throne. God will give you the gift of men that will open doors for you. God will give you the gift of men that will speak for you on your way to your next level. God will send you the gift of men who will make your thrones and crowns come faster. God will bless you with good men.

Solomon was too young to even have a relationship with the sort of men that were enlisted to support him. He was too young to even seek their help, but they were positioned to help him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: men that will help you will be laid on your path to greatness. God will position men who will fill the gaps in your journey to the top. God will position men around you who have what you do not have as you rise.

Today, I pray for you: may you receive the gift of men who will love you unconditionally. May you receive the gift of men who will be loyal to you. May you receive the gift of men who have the capacity you need as you rise higher. May you receive the gift of men who will help steer your journey to the next level. May you receive the gift of men who will refuse to stand by your adversaries. May God send you the gift of good men with capacity.

Welcome to that season where the help of the right men will be laid on your pathway. Welcome to that season where help will be waiting before you arrive.
