HONOUR IS WAITING

18th AUGUST 2024

Scripture Reading: LUKE 19: 28-40

Focus

“And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.” (Luke 19: 35)

When the disciples of Jesus brought the colt to Him, they removed their clothes and put same on the colt. These disciples merely loosed the colt from where it was tied and brought it to Jesus. They undertook a journey in order to bring the colt to Jesus. The journey may not have seemed honorable, but the moment the colt came to Jesus, garments were put on it. The process of bringing the colt did not seem like the result.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the process will not look like the result. You may be in a journey that seems laced with pain and trepidation, but when the result arrives, you will be shocked to your bones how God has chosen to honour you. God will cause you to have results that will wipe your tears away. God will cause you to have results that will make a way for you on higher levels. God will raise men to put you in honour.

When God chooses to honour a man, even a painful process will lead to a glorious result. When God chooses to honour a man, the process may not seem prestigious, but your results will remain undeniable. Hear me as I hear the Lord: that process that seems unfavourable will soon birth uncommon results. That effort that seems insignificant will soon carry you into your new season of mind-blowing wonders.

Notice that the colt did not ask anyone to cast their garments on it. It did not ask to be honoured, but it was honoured all the same. Hear me as I hear the Lord: that honour you did not ask for, God will cause you to have it. That honour you are not expecting, God will make it happen for you. That honour that seems too big for you, God will cause it to become your evidence. God will cause men ahead of you to honour you exceedingly.

Remember, the process may not look like it, but the result will be undeniable. The process may not be big, but the end will be greater.

Declaration

The process may not look like it, but my results will be undeniable, in Jesus’ name!
