Difficulty Made Easy

7th March 2020

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 6: 24-25, 7: 1-20

Focus

“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.” (2 Kings 7: 1)

When Elisha intervened in the matter of the famine in Samaria, a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, while two measures of barley were also sold for a shekel. The tables turned by the word of the Lord, and lack gave way for abundance to take over. The tables turned, and provisions that were once scarce became overflowing; the tables turned, and what was once difficult or impossible became very easy.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the tables are turning, and whatever was once difficult shall become easy; whatsoever was impossible shall become possible; whatsoever was scarce shall become more than enough; where there was lack, there shall be abundance; where there was rejection, there shall be acceptance; where things were once difficult, there shall be open doors and breakthroughs; where there was nothing, much will arise.

God orchestrated the fresh, abundant provisions that were made available to Israel, and the story changed. Hear me as I hear the Lord: divine provision is being made available to you, and whatever you couldn’t do in the past will become easy to do; divine provision will transport you from poverty to wealth; divine provision will move you from irrelevance to influence; divine provision will give you more than you ever had.

Whatever situation you currently face is not the end of the road. The God who specializes in causing new beginnings to show up will show up on your behalf with a new beginning that will blow your mind. The same God who caused the story of the people of Samaria to change will cause your story to change. The same God who made what was previously difficult to become easy will cause your difficult places to become places of ease.

Your story is changing; difficult things are being made easy.

Declaration
