Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the lords of the Philistines reached out to Delilah in order to pay her and get her to entice Samson. Their second goal, apart from wanting to bind Samson, was to afflict him. They wanted to baptize Samson with affliction. They wanted to inflict pain on his life. They were not about to kill him; they wanted him to remain alive, but with affliction. They wanted him to live a life of pain without remedy.
Friend, every plan of the enemy to afflict your life, I command it to scatter by fire. Every plan of the enemy to make your life miserable and painful, I command it to scatter by fire. I command every attack that wants to inflict pain on your life, to be reversed. I command every arrangement that wants to mess up your comfort, to scatter now. I scatter every plan of the enemy to make you live your life in pain. I command an end to affliction.
When a man is afflicted, he may be alive but his life is worse than death. When a man is afflicted, pain overshadows whatever goodnews he may have had. When a man is afflicted, he spends money to service negativity. When a man is afflicted, he carries burdens that an enemy put on him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every burden that the enemy has put on your life, I pull it down now. I disconnect you from affliction.
Jesus was afflicted so that you will not be afflicted. Jesus took the pains He took so that you can live a life devoid of pain. Every arrangement of the enemy to make you suffer the pain that God Himself did not endorse, I command that plan to backfire. Every messenger that wants to afflict your life with pain, let fire answer. Every attacker of your destiny that wants you to shed bitter tears of pain, let fire answer.
The days of affliction are over in your life. No longer shall it be said that you are alive, but your life is worse than death itself. No longer shall your life be afflicted with pain.
