It is instructive to observe that the person who was sent by Elisha to anoint Jehu was one of the sons of the Prophets. He was a prophet in training. He was someone who had subjected himself to learn under Elisha. He was not just available to learn, but he was learning under someone was the best of the best. He stayed under the mentorship and teachings of Elisha, and one day, he was selected for greater works.
Friend, submit to the greatness that you want to be part of. When you come in contact with the greatness you want to attain, don’t seek to compete; seek the learn. Dare to learn when you meet the best of the best. When you see the Elisha’s of your generation, position yourself to glean from their knowledge and experiences. Position yourself to increase in knowledge and understanding. Position yourself to grow your capacity under an Elisha.
That prophet in training kept learning under Elisha, and one day, his opportunity to be in the limelight came forth. He did not seek the limelight, he sought after training and an opportunity for distinction came his way. If you dare to seek for more training, your opportunity for more will emerge. If you dare to grow your capacity under your Elisha, you soon will walk into greatness that you did not plan for. Your training is your preparation for heights.
That prophet in training remained under training, oblivious of the opportunity that was about to come his way. He remained under training, and in a matter of time, the big one landed. Sometimes, the period of learning would seem endless, but if you endure and follow through your learning process, the opportunity for your greatness will show up sooner than later. If you remain trainable, there will be no end to your manifestation.
Don’t be counted amongst them that prefer to be puffed up in the presence of greatness. Dare to learn. Dare to stay under training.
