Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when Peter was taken into custody by Herod, in the days of unleavened bread. Unleavened bread was eaten in the days of Passover. So Peter was arrested during Passover. In bible times, Passover was a celebration of the victory that God granted Israel over Pharaoh. It was a celebration of freedom, but in that season of freedom celebration, bondage became the lot of Peter.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be caught in any bondage whilst others are celebrating freedom. You will not go down when others are going up. You will not cry as others are laughing. You will not mourn as others are dancing and celebrating. You will not be in the news for wrong reasons when others are in the news for the right reasons. You will not be an example of negativity. You will not be amongst the unfortunate.
People were in their homes, enjoying the days of unleavened bread, whilst Peter was thrown into prison. Peter was literally taken out of a celebration he should have been part of. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be hijacked from your own celebration. You will not be disconnected from the same celebration you should be part of. You will not be disconnected from your good news. You will not be disconnected from your open doors.
Every power of hell that wants you to be disconnected from your good news, let the fire of God answer. Every conspiracy to make you cry when others are celebrating, let the fire of God answer. I scatter every conspiracy that wants to make you a victim at a time when you should be celebrated. I cancel every satanic arrangement that wants you to be singled out for negativity. I cancel every plot to make your sun go down.
As others embrace their good news, yours will not be a tale of bad news. As others rise higher, yours will not be a tale of going down.
