In our Focal Scripture, the angel of the Lord instructed Peter to bind on his sandals and wear his garment. So Peter had been stripped in prison. Peter was in a location that did not allow him to wear both his clothes and his sandals. In bible times, people were identified by what they wore. Clothes were a mark of identity. So what happened to Peter was that he was stripped of his true identity. The prison took his identity.
One sure way to know that you are in a destiny prison is when it strips you of your identity. Every environment that causes you to stop believing in yourself is a destiny prison. Any relationship that wants you to be less than you have always been, or less than your destiny mandate, is a destiny prison that wants to swallow you. If it steals your self-esteem, it is a destiny prison. If it makes you love God less or serve God less, it is a destiny prison.
Friend, every demonic exchange of your identity, I command it to end now. Every divine identity the enemy took away from you, let it be restored. Take back that identity that the prison took from you. Take back that divine identity that sin took from you. Take back that divine identity that your battles took from you. Take back that superior identity that circumstances took from you. Take back the identity that your haters took from you.
Peter was not going to leave the prison without his clothes. He was not going to move on without taking back the identity that the prison took from him. As excited as you are to leave the prison, be sure to take back the identity that the prison took from you. Take back the winning mindset that your prison took from you. Take back the faith that your prison took from you. Take back the love for God that your prison took from you.
Take back that identity that the enemy took from you. As you break out of every confinement of the enemy, break out with your identity intact.
