Scripture Reading: MATTHEW 2: 1-20

“Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” (Matthew 2: 2)

When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, his star appeared in the east. The east as used in our Focal Scripture is in reference to nations in the east. So Jesus’ star appeared in other nations. He was born in a manger, in a place of low estate, but it did not stop his star from shining in other nations. Where he was born had no limit on how his star should shine. Where he was born did not determine the shining of his star. His star was global.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God is causing your star to go international. God is causing the things you do to go international. God is causing your influence to go global. God is causing your relevance to enter into the nations. God is causing your name to be heard in the nations of the world. God is causing international gates to be open to you. God is causing help to locate you from the nations. You will shine beyond your nation.

Bethlehem was the least of the cities in Judah; so Jesus was born in the least of the cities of Judah, but His star went into nations where wise men could come with gifts. His emergence was in low estate, but his shining was way beyond His emergence. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the place of your emergence may seem little, but your shining will greatly outweigh it. You will shine in a manner that will shock those who know where you emerged.

Don’t look down on yourself because you emerged from ‘Bethlehem’. Your beginning may be small but your latter will be greater. You may start small but you will grow big. You may start locally but you will go global. You may start from a small corner, but your influence and relevance will reach the ends of the earth. You may not have the best of backgrounds, but it will not stop God from making you all He desires you to become.

Welcome to your season of global manifestation. Your star will shine in the nations. You will not be limited to the boundaries of where you began. You will blossom beyond your current borders.

My star will shine globally, in Jesus’ name!
