Unexpected Thrones

Another Man’s Miracle

14th November 2022

Scripture Reading: Luke 7: 11-17

Focus

“And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.” (Luke 7: 13)

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus saw the woman whose son was to be buried, and He had compassion on her. Jesus moved from showing compassion on the woman, to raising her son back to life. The compassion of Jesus on the woman led to resurrection in the life of the young man. The encounter between Jesus and the woman led to a miracle for that young man. One person’s encounter birthed another’s miracle.

Friend, can it be said that you are that person whose encounter with Jesus has birthed another man’s miracle? Can it be said that your prayers caused doors to be opened for others? Can it be said that your walk with God became the platform for others to possess their possessions? Can it be said that your prayers caused other men to receive answers? Can it be said that you used your encounter with Jesus to change another man’s story?

If you dare to arise and seek the Lord, there are multitudes that will find favour because you won favour from the Lord. If you dare to press into the secret place of the Most High, there are people whose lives will be secured, and who will obtain mercy from the Lord because you already obtained mercy. Heaven has empowered you to be a conduit of the power of God, and through you, others can be reached and touched too.

There is a generation that is seeking for men whose walk with God can become a platform for the mercy of God to come their way. There is a generation that is waiting for your life to become heaven’s special consideration for them. There is a generation that is waiting for you to find favour with God so that God’s favour can be extended to them. There is a generation that is hoping to reap where you sowed.

Don’t be preoccupied with how to gain heaven’s attention for yourself; seek how you may become the one whose encounters with God will come with benefits for others.
