When Prophet Samuel anointed David as king of Israel, the spirit of God came upon David. According to our Focal Scripture, the Spirit of God departed from Saul. Notice that the Spirit of God came upon Saul on the very day he was anointed as king (see 1 Samuel 10 vs. 6), and the same Spirit was taken away from Saul and placed upon David. What was initially given to Saul was taken from him and reallocated to David.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: heaven will take from other men and give to you. Opportunities that were given to others and they chose to mess it up, heaven will turn same over to you. Access that others once had and misused same, heaven will turn same over to you. The wisdom that others failed to use when it was given to them, will be passed on to you. The doors that God opened for others and they messed it up, heaven will pass same open doors to you. As others lose out, you will gain.
Get set: as others lose grounds, you will gain new grounds. As others are rejected, you will be accepted. As others miss their chance to be relevant to God, you will gain the opportunity to be even more relevant to God. As others make a mess of the resources and offices granted them, you will be favoured to take over from them. As others give reasons why what they are given should be taken from them, you will receive their portion.
On the flipside, if you are making the mistake of giving heaven reasons to take away what has been given to you, remember that others are available to be given what was originally meant to be yours. If you are busy giving men reasons to replace you, remember that they have options, and there will be many who are willing to take your place. If you mess up your own chance, there will be rivals waiting to take your place.
Welcome to that season where you will receive what heaven has taken away from other men. Welcome to that season where you must never lose your portion to another.
